5. 23-435 Public meeting to hear arguments for and against the issuance of not more than $21,000,000 of General Obligation Bonds to finance the construction and equipping of a fire station
Sandy City needs to find another way to fund the fire station. You have already raised our property taxes earlier this year. Now your back for more. Not to mention sewer and water taxes have gone up. I am for the responders, but the taxes never end. The city needs to make cuts so they can afford to build a new station. Stop paying for the employees' health insurance. Everyone else that I know has to pay for their own insurance. Where is this fair to the property taxpayers. I wish I had a benefit like this. I am sorry but I am fed up every time Sandy needs money it's at the expense of the taxpayer. Find another way. Thank You for hearing me out. Bill Perkins- Lifetime Sandy Resident
