The jump in property taxes is using an average per household. My concern is for those on fixed budgets who may be impacted more than this amount. Several of my neighbors live on very tight budgets. I'd feel more comfortable with something that helps adjust the tax increase to account for those in our city who aren't as able to pay more.

Sandy City needs to live within their means. Residents have to do this. I totally Support Councilwoman Houseman's budget proposal. Raising taxes with the cost of everything out there right now is wrong and should be noted. The City Council should think of there residents and all that we have gone through and are still going through. Please think of the residents and the budgets we have to live with. Its hard. Thank you for allowing my comments. Bill Perkins
