I would like to adjust what was heard regarding my public comments on the CDBG Budget allocation at the 3/28/23 meeting. I agreed the CDBG Committee did a good job allocating the funds, however it was my intent to suggest the Council could assist the funding by picking up some of the administrative costs for the program, leaving more cash to be distributed in the program. Since the first group is already maxed out, the monies would go to the next two areas, but not Main Street Park. I believe City General Funds could be allocated to the Main Street Park Project if it is of high enough interest to the council and the Mayor.
