I know the Sandy Police Department is doing their best to curb the street racing in the city. Could they also work on warning or ticketing the drivers of the cars and motorcycles that have been adapted to be so loud? I don't know if it is because annual inspections are no longer required, but it is becoming more of an issue on 700 E and in historic Sandy. If we can hear them a couple of blocks away through double paned, closed windows now, then there are going to be many sleepless nights when we start opening the windows. If word gets out that applicable ordinances are being enforced, then others may choose not to make those changes to their vehicles. I suspect that
a lot of their enjoyment of the street racing is the noise. Thanks!
